![]() Here a 25 mm thick layer of paver bedding or medium washed river sand is installed level with the use of screed rails to ensure a uniform 25 mm of sand under each paver. | ![]() The final process in the paver installation is compacting the installed pavers with a cushioned plate compactor. Clear paving sealant can then be applied to each paver to prevent staining while providing a glossy finish. | ![]() Depending on the thickness of the pavers to be installed excavation to a depth of approximately 165 mm is required and is usually undertaken using a mini loader. |
